wavelust end of season BBQ

:idea: thought maybe some sunday before the season ends a spot could be picked and surfers in the area (from wavelust) could get together some afternoon and have some grinds and talk surf. figure bud or whoever could make a flag (blue and white with a WL on it) and that will be the signal. good idea, bad idea, start of a cult or an anual thing? feedback please :!:
that spot off the h-3 rocks!!!

sounds like a fun idea. might be a little tricky for me to get a whole day free with the new baby around, but prolly could swing an afternoon pass from the warden.

not yet Olly ....

I'm thinking if it's a go, a good location might be the beach at himmys, around where the outgoing rip starts just west of Lanis. close to plenty parking, should have plenty of room and fairly close to haleiwa town... downsides, likley crowded surf .... no mo water, tables or facilities but take a shit before you go surf dammit :D ... PLUS, has nice angle of Lanis and there's a possible NNE swell brewing in the forecast for this weekend ....

any other ideas?

9 days left till I arrive and an end of season bbq sounds like my "cup o tea!
