All of these were taken in Niijima. Probably the most beautiful place in Japan.

Didn't they throw up a coastal road (which makes no sense out there) and re-inforce it with thousands of tetrapods that killed off a huge swath of beach breaks all at once?

Don't know about the road. But garbage and tetras are coming next.

I just saw a statistic that said 55% of Japan's coastline is covered in concrete. Could it be so?
