Kelly, I was expecting you to be out. The two shots you mentioned are actually a sequence and was probably the bomb set of the morning. Most waves were smaller than that, although I got caught inside a few times. Argh! Eh, builds character I guess.

Buddy, I'm actually heading out predawn for a short one tomorrow. Will be meeting up with Justin somewhere. Maybe we can connect this time. Buzz the cell in the AM.

Used to more, but still do a few. Prolly will do more at some point in the future. Just getting a few boards from him nowadays.

Out at L's this morn with Fabian and Buddy. Smaller, cleaner, and I was much kookier. Still had fun though...

Waves are looking glassy and fun, I'm babysitting until 1.

Looks like about 4-6, maybe some bigger ones at spots that suck in swell.

Sweet pics neil!

Awesome shots Neo!!!

Went out regardless of the fact it looked awful, small and windy. There were a few others out as well, and every now and then a small one would peel through. 2 new faces out that were just taking off on anything. Each one burned me once, so I repayed the favor later. i+i
About 2 hours in, a hella long lull cleared everyone out, and then it started getting a little more consistant and pushing chest ta neck high. 2 mellow regs paddled out and the 3 of us caught some funnish peaks and drops for another hour. Finally, the wind got stronger and I was freezing. It's been freakin' COLD!! Not the best session, but fun enough.

Just found out I can't take my Xmas tree to the school anymore..gotta take 'em to Waimanalo! :?
Owoooooooo!!

ho, that was a short session eh Neal!? Was ok fun, some pretty fine waves actually, but just no where near enough of them for the amount of people, especially with about 5-6 hogs on logs. good to surf with you guys, Justin, Fabian etc,......... and cool to meet Jimmy and his 2 buds from Tasmania. These guys were rippers AND were so stoked to surf Hawaii, actually paddled over to say 'thanks' for sharing the lineup and an open invite if we ever come over to surf Taz :D L^]

Frame grab from the Pipecam at 8am this morning. I only see 6 guys out? Can't be a contest since it seems to be a mix of sticks and sponges. I'm guessing I started watching just when the first set of the day hit. That could be Neal on it.
All the cams from upside are down, Lani's, Holton's, Jocko's and Chun's. WTF am I paying the big bucks for? I'd complain but I'm not actually paying.

Oh well, better put my sorry ass back in bed, just Pau work more worse.

Kelly, Wish that was me. I was pulling weeds in the rain in Town. Didn't realize the surf would come up and the winds stay back--I already used all my surf points for the weekend.

Made it out to Jox about 9:30. First time in real waves since before Christmas. Very light south winds and a nice angle on the swell. Mellow crowd of about 10 and lots of waves to the sets equals lots of waves for everyone. OH+ to near DOH with a couple almost closing out. Had one good barrel then it started junking out and I couldn't catch a wave in to save my life. Started getting desperate and had two spectacular wipe-outs in a row. Looked like full on west winds when I left at 1:30.
