Surf Cam

Postby uncle » Wed Oct 22, 2008 8:51 am

So, does anyone know who to talk to about putting a Surf Cam on my building? My boss has asked me to look into it.

Not your house I hope!! Everyone must think it's always flat and windy out there!! And sharky, and reefy...lots of mokes too...way too far to paddle as well. Man it sucks out there!!!

Surf Cam would be at the Elk's Club. I would imagine it would be a lot more difficult to set up a streaming video? I think they have the idea of making some money off of it. I hesitate cause, well you know I caught Rice Bowl a few times this summer with very little wind and just me and a buddy. Maybe it could be angled towards suicides and tongg's. I dunno, would it be worth it to set it up just for members?

No wonder RB's gets crowded fast. At least I can tell my boss that someone has one already. No guilt on my side for crowding a surf spot.
