The down side I've found with them is in weaker surf. There is definitely not as much to push against when you're down speed and trying to thrust out of the hole. But, in waves with power, I have found them to work with noticable improvement.

Hey that must be you Tom? :D

Thanks again for letting me test the latest in fin tech! The 'quirk' I've noticed is hard to pin down to the new fins or not ... all the diff factors at play, brand new board plus less than optimum surf & conditions lately. What I have noticed is not necessarily a bad thing - seems like if true, should be happy about and able to tune my benefit - but definitely something that I'm not used to. It's almost like an extra "squirt" of speed out of turns. So far I can easily move the board the way I like, the difference I notice is coming out of turns (or even pumping down the line) I notice the board seems to want to go back into a fast straight line immediately after pressure released from a turn. Kinda like stepping onto a piece of ice on the ground after taking a step. Does that make sense?

Anyways if what I'm sensing is happening, I hope I can harness this newfound energy in a way to benefit all mankind in the prusuit of life liberty and justice, Batman !! :D

Looking forwardt to see what kind of difference with the 'regular' fins in place.

.............blast these winds! Got a report that select eastside spots were ok in the a.m. but by the time I pau work winds came on it. I did a travel by RI and Erma's and saw the wrap. Not really enticed though. Lots of people out at FP but wind were good for that side. Almost paddled out to this left I never surfed but look sketchcity for surfing. Just to the left of the last bathroom, you all know. Guess I'll go for a swim to get wet.

At times......Better?....Nah lil ones make it ALL worthwhile that little glow in da eyes, li'dat, makes going to work, well, almost worth it.

Gotta a call from LG on da wireless, for a go to da "forbidden spot"...(non-military wont have a clue) Oh damn I gave it away...No can go, cause I gotta kick the shit outta da cold and flu basatard that has decided to invade my body. LG had to go NY for a funeral today - so prayers out to the bro and his family. 1 surf for an Uncle that was a surfer before he headed E bound. ( very stokable on the stoke-a -meter) garrans bro LG is going get some heavy good Karma's on the rebound...

Any ways good surf' to all.

Fucking cough & flu bullshit....Tylenol, Cough Syrup and good night...

Hey Hmark,

you've had that cold for a while now, maybe you go doctor eh? Get some antibiotics...

If oyur phlem/ cough spit is nice and yellow or green colored --then its a good sign you got a bacterial infection and the antibiotics most definately help---a favorite of mine is a 500 mg of Zithromax once a day for 3 days. If your phlem is white, then its viral and you just got to stick it out with what your taking now--treating the symptoms until you get better.

Adder I know your a Dentist (i think) but please if I am wrong jump in and correct me.

PS IF you smoke cigs maybe this is a good time to quick being the new year and all.

Buddy, I have a feeling you'll be using this to your advantage, in oh, let's say a few hours. :) I have a feeling you'll be using your new found power for huge snaps in the critical part of the wave with no fear of beating the section that follows. Now tell us, how does it feel to surf like slater? 8)

And Tom, you're fin knowledge unveils your masked identity as a "guest". We know it was you by the technicality of your posts as usual. :D

I've been blessed with bad water quality but good waves lately. I think Neo knows the photographer of the pics below. Kinda funny, I think this guy is a friend of a friend. Goes back to the 6 degrees of separation. :)
I've caught this place 2 or 3 times like this in the past 2 weeks. Very fun for us!! :)

This GB takes some great photos!!

Sorry, I was negligent in not signing in. Lazieness I guess. We've had some pretty miserable surf conditions for quite a while. So, feedback from you and all those I sent proto-types to is invaluable at the moment. Thanks for the feed back :D

Chunky funky monkey pretty much all over here, I checked to eotr, not breaking too good anywhere, mixed up swell with side-offshore winds.

I bet tha easside is good, there is a high surf advisory over there...

I thought it looked smaller on the SE corner this morning then it has the last couple of days. It was very clean at Roach Bay and RI and strangely just as off-shore around the corner. Doubles was looking good, I never put the scope to RI but it was probably good too.
