slowly getting back into it. 4 weeks cigarette free. losing weight and inches. went carving yesterday, had the whole place to myself. worked the shit out of the old quads.

125 yard run, 4 lanes wide, absolutely deserted. not one other soul. just me and the sweet slide, what it's all about.

back to the source...

Ehukai afternoon sandbar action, scattered beachbreak peaks coming in.

Lots o pros getting ready for the backdoor shootout , surfed with Jamie O' , Kalani Robb, Kekoa Bacalso, Sunny g, and some others I didn't recognize. Kalani was getting some great manuvers in, rad to watch him surf.....

12' @ 12 on buoy 1, Caldwell sez

"Surf heights could jump abruptly locally Wednesday evening from 330-360 degrees. This episode should peak mid Thursday with a slow decrease into the weekend, dropping to moderate levels late Friday.

The westward moving storm mentioned above should provide small to medium surf locally for Sunday out of 320-340 degrees.

Winds are expected to be light with the large scale direction veering from northwesterly to easterly between Wednesday and Friday. Land and sea breezes are likely. Light to moderate trades could hold into Saturday, but with only light chop, no significant windswell. Models suggest Kona winds (southeast to southwest) pulling up across the state Sunday toward a developing low pressure to the immediate northwest of the islands. "

Ankle is FINALLY at about 85% normal and I'm looking to get wet tomorrow, surf & conditions permitting prolly headed north just after daylight & a look at the cams. Give a shout if anyone goin or swap surf reports

Naw, I just got word that my transfer is on hold again, could be july now from what I hear....if it fucking comes down to it eventually(giving one year from today) I am just going to move to HI on my own, set up residence and after 1 year then attend law school at UH. Hard part will be getting a job. But i know bartending, have no problem waiting tables, hell I even clean bathrooms....well maybe not, but I have always landed on my feet so Im not too worried.

Surf report from the SE corner this morning. It's picking up more of a north wrap then it was earlier in the week but the winds are still light from the NW. North side of the point is OH+ @ the best spot with side-onshore winds and the south side of the point is straight off-shore and still picking up some wrap.
