G LAND

Postby LGREANZ » Sun Jul 02, 2006 3:30 am

words dont do it justice.
backside barrels of my life!
every surfers should experience this place before the great dirt nap
only time out of hawaii where i felt like i was surfing in hawaii
water moving around like makaha on a 10 foot day
rise at 5 bed by 8

if your a goofy foot and u dont get to surf this wave ur basically wasting ur time, quit surfing.

many photos, too much work to sort it out down here.
buddy ill get em to ya when i get back and maybe you can load em up and inspire da boys to save there pennies and get on it.

java blows bali away with a nuclear bomb !
wish i would've just stayed there for the whole trip

lots of patience, luck, positioning and perfect timing went into getting this wave.

just happened to be in the spot.

if i didn't commit to pulling in i wouldve rode straight into the reef.

the picture is just a moment in time and doesn't even come close to conveying the feeling or vision that i had drving thru those sections.

or the reef !

its up there as one of the best rides of my life, but not "THE" best, but definatley the best document barrel of my life. stoked to share it with yall !

thanks bud

I'm a goofyfooter and that wave brings back memories of my trips to bali & Indo  wish I had the time to go again.

Love the pictures, keep them coming.

BTW Liam was that a photog you hired for the session/ how much? Or Just a friend with a camera. Was the camera a waterproof one or were they taken from the boat?

flat out the shit. that inside rail grab looks like speedies...and as a person who's hit the bottom out there that one takes commitment. the bottom in the shot where he's pitted is less than three feet and more likely two...liam would definitely have gotten rolled. nice shot man.
jute

yeah jute speedies it is. what a drainer...

prs got it off a photog who spends the summer down there, he was shotting from a boat in the channel, super sick camera, these are the small files also got them on a cr2 file which is like 10 megapixels.

Hmark, hate to cut it short, but id call it road rage during a procedure.
im over it tho, with out that happenin i would've never gone to gland, and experienced a month in indo, if i bump into him i gotta say mahalo.
