aloha well things were super busy last week, no chance to stop in and say hi..hey so what's the haps? i hear all sorts of different stories about water quality in town..but it seems the trouble spots are near Bowls and the Hilton..

What about Diamond side? It's ok over there? I'm back in less than two weeks and don't want to swim with turds!!! hehehehe

There is gunk on the bottom which will probably take a few big south swells to fully clear. You can surf there but DONT GET CUT on the reef.

Comrades don't let comrades surf sewage.

great whites do they tend to populate the diamond area or thats assuming there are more right now due to murky water?

Not gonna see many Great Whites at DH, 'cept the Haole longborders. :D

Water should be clean enough to surf most of the place in a few weeks, but like comrade Red sed, don't hit the reef. The sand and reefs are still pilau.

Kailua side maybe kinda sketchy for awhile though...

i heard this secret spot in Waiks called "SEONAC" pumps out epic rights and lefts and is rarely crowded...but that only happens on a SW/BM swell. Not many sharks either. keep it on the DL though...

i wouldn't worry so much about great white sharks, it's the big brown shark you gotta watch out for

no worries if we find a good spot i'll lay on top of a sand dune and snipe the out of towners (just kidding)

brown sharks suck, i was surfing at wp once, just paddling around enjoying a flat day ..saw something shiny in the water so i paddled up to get a closer look and it was a turd just bobbin away in the water...i screamed just like any girl would do then watched it get carried away by a wave..

hey sometimes it stinks out at wp..is shit dumped into the ocean out that way?

During certain wind directions you'll smell the sewer treatment plant by the Coral Creek Golf Course, right next to the formerly Barbers Pt back gate. It can be naaaasty nauseous for people living nearby
