Go down south. Across the channel form Pavones. THere a set up of three rights. One is called Ponduce and another is called Backwash Beach, the third I can't remember. There are really cheap places to stay and it's uncrowded. Three long rights along three little bays. Tiny town of maybe 1000 people. One restaurant, one bar. I stayed for a week and it was awesome.

You'll be going towards the end of the rainy season. I was there during September(middle of Rainy season) and it rained nearly 7 inches every day. Made for great glassy conditions, but we did get a lot of landslides. Make sure you get a 4X4.

I'll try to get some pics of matopalo up this weekend. I got a couple set-up shots, landslide shots and water shots. And sketchy airplane shots.
